OK. I know I'm not real great about keeping up on here, sorry, I did warn you. 

My dog, Bubba, past away on December 5th.  We are heartbroken, but will survive.  I bought Shi a kitten for Christmas, and the kids love her. 

On another note, I want to say how much we enjoyed the Vikings of the Great Lakes Yule Feast.  The food was excellent, people marvelous, and the support and love of everyone there, helping my son and I with our sadness was much apprieciated.  We were able to grieve with the love our friends there to help us.   For those of you who were not able to attend, hopefully next year.  It is something I hope to attend each year.
